The vision of living best today, not looking in the past and without overlooking the future, staying present withing that moment is surely what has inspired this album. The cover is a mixture of 7 different locations of my travels around the world, creating one adventure through different stages of life. Salut!

Following “Blue Days” and “Jazz Sh*t & Real Book Vol.1”, we are proud to announce Wilbury’s third release “Jazz Sh*t & Real Book Vol.2”, which will be released both digitally and as a combined cassette tape with the previously released Vol. 1, bringing the two together for a complete collection of Wilbury’s various jazz / hip-hop orientated experiments.
“Jazz Sh*t & Real Book Vol.1&2” began as a way for Wilbury to develop his beat-making techniques while working with standard jazz structures. His approach towards using a sampler is similar to that of artists such as Knxwledge and MNDSGN and by combining Hip-Hop and Jazz, Wilbury has created a mixture of sounds and textures, which are seldom found in Jazz alone. The result is a suave and elegantly characterful sound melded with the playfulness of lo-fi hip-hop beats, which artfully reflects Wilbury’s background in modern jazz. By combining these two genres, which often represent cherished eras been and gone, Wilbury freshens up the old into something new while retaining it’s “nostalgia” factor, making his experiments a suitable listen for jazz and hip hop fans, old and new.

Misteriada is a strange project of Hip Hop, abstract and metaphysical, unusual, old and actual, indefinite in outline and end. If this scare you and cause you reject, don't read more.

We speak about a producer / DJ who is accompanied in this occasion with many Mc's and some DJ's from different geographical locations, giving them full freedom to create the most diverse and colorful themes, stories, experiences or sensations, as they inspired the instrumental background.

All the scratches are made with dusty vinyl, no digital emulation (we stress that if there is any doubt ...). We love Hip Hop, the culture, the evolution, and the preservation of musical traditions, plastic and expressive.

The idea is simple: Misteriada being built right now, while you are reading this, its end is indefinite, it mutates, it changes everything.

Creations are projected from 2005-2006 and others that have been recorded a month ago ... Something timeless, yes, but with love.

It is advisable to listen on a stereo system with an optimal volume, in which your ears are comfortable, without causing listening fatigue by high sound pressure levels.
